Setting up Speed Dialing

Speed dial is a directory of your frequently called contacts that can be entered and stored within Voxalot. You can assign a short numeric speed dial number to any fixed line number or SIP URI, making it easier to call.

1. On the member menu, click on Speed Dial. If you can't see the member menu, please log into your account
2. Click on the Add Button and enter the following details.

Give the speed dial a number. You can use any integer. Then give it a name that makes sense to you. If you wish to route the call to a fixed line via your dial plan or provider, select route to Phone Number and enter the required details. To route the call to a SIP URI, select URI and then enter the SIP URI. Note: Make sure you add sip: at the front of the URI.

Once complete, click on the Save button. You can add as many speed dial entries as you like. To Edit/Delete and entry in the Speed Dial Book click on Pencil/Trashcan icons.

To use your speed dial, just dial ** followed by the speed dial number that you selected earlier (eg. **2 dials speed dial number 2)
