On the enterprise side, Voxalot offers a Web Services API to Web site operators and application developers who wish to easily embed calling features into their online applications.
This programmatic Web Services API, called VoxConnect, makes available to enterprises all of the Voxalot core telephony functions that are available to consumers.
With VoxConnect, developers easily integrate the full range of Voxalot’s services into their applications, enabling a new generation of voice-enabled sites. Prime examples of online applications that would benefit from voice-integration are social networking and on-line dating sites. For example, on-line dating site operators can create new revenue streams by incorporating an additional communication channel that offers anonymous calling services to their members.
VoxConnect’s embeddable features include call initiation, click-to-call service, telephone number validation (fixed line, mobile and internet phone number) via a PIN, and call history information.
Applications embedding Voxalot services can also take advantage of other core Voxalot functionality such as voice mail, interconnects to over 2000 SIP domains, seamless ENUM call routing and find-me/follow-me.
